Baltimore Hotels

BWI Airport is a 10 mile drive from the cruise terminal. Go to our website, www.cruisemaryland.com ~ there is a page on hotels that breaks things down into different areas ~ look for one near the Inner Harbor which is only 2.5 miles away from the cruise terminal. Check for those with special codes for stay and cruise packages many of which include breakfast and parking (they will shuttle you to and from the terminal). Enjoy!!!

Staying in the Inner Harbor area is a great idea if you plan on arriving a day or so early- this way you will have plenty of things to do before you cruise (Inner Harbor, Port Discovery for the kids, Baltimore Aquarium, Science Center, etc...). If you are arriving the night before your cruise, there really isn't any reason to stay in the Inner Harbor, unless you like paying double for a hotel room! ;)

Check these places perhaps- they are still downtown Baltimore (not so close to the airport) but a little bit away from the madness of the Inner Harbor. They are in an area called Fells Point... http://www.harbormagic.com/cruise/index.asp

I've read alot of people stay at the Best Western (on O'donnell Street)...not the most touristy area, but if you are only looking for one night stay, it is clean and convenient to cruise terminal...

Good luck!:)

I called Brookshire Suites and asked about the stay and cruise package.

They do have one.

One night stay, parking for 8 nights, breakfast, shuttle to and from port, one room (2 adults one teen)

$159.00 (plus tax).

They do not have rooms with double beds so this price is for a suite, queen bed with pullout sofa.

I looked at TripAdvisor and the only problem I see with this hotel is the parking. If I understand correctly the parking in not on the hotel site but down the street? Has anyone had any issue with parking of their car during their cruise?

I am also looking at the Holiday Inn at the Stadium...the price difference is $50.00 for the one night.

NOTE: I know I can get a cheaper hotel if I stay away from Inner Harbor but we plan on going to Inner Harbor the day we arrive and that evening for dinner, etc. Also HI has a shuttle to and from the Inner Harbor so I don't need to stay "right at" Inner Harbor.

This past November we stayed at the Hilton. They have a park-n-cruise package. It was a great stay. The staff were very accomodating and worked with us since our cruise was delayed by an entire day. I totally appreciate what they did for us. And the accommodations were beautiful, clean & spacious. Great breakfast, too. It was $10 pp but well worth it as they had everything you could think of with made to order omelets.

No problem. Hope this helps.

A man greets you at the front door and parks your car in the parking garage directly across the street. I know which parking lot they used because I discovered that I left something I needed in the car. The man escorted me to my car. The garage was clean and brightly lit.

After the cruise, they retrieved the car for me.

Not happy that the price went up though :(

Have any of you thought of Hotwire for an Inner Harbor hotel? We are coming to Baltimore this weekend for the Houston/Baltimore football game and was able to get a 4 star for $88 per night. Needless to say we are very happy after checking prices with the hotels directly.

Hope this helps someone.
