monicajay Posted January 6, 2012 #1 Share Posted January 6, 2012 I received an e-mail today from Crown and Anchor asking us to 'verify' the account. I clicked on it and then spent way too much time turning in circles through the web-site. It said we had 8 points. We have done one 10 day cruise in Australia with an inside cabin. Tried to find a link that show how points are calculated and accumulate. I feel really stupid as I don't seem to be able to solve this on the C & A web-site on my own. What do they want to verify? How are points acquired? I have read that suites get double. Please help me understand how this works.
Trainman-2 Posted January 6, 2012 #2 Share Posted January 6, 2012 You get one point for each night at sea. Double points for junior suites and above. Your best bet is to call the C&A Number and have them straighten it out for you.
Starry Eyes Posted January 6, 2012 #3 Share Posted January 6, 2012 When you did your cruise in 2009, you got one "cruise credit.". about a year ago, Royal Caribbean changed the program; while the old system was based mostly on number of cruises while the new system is mostly based on days. When Royal Caribbean did their conversion, they converted your single cruise credit to 8 Points. You are a gold member. from here on you will gain points as you sail one point per day in regular cabins or two points per day in a jr suite or higher. Hope that helps a bit.
