Best beach area for baby?

We're going on our baby's first cruise next week - and we've been to GC twice ourselves already.

 

The only thing we haven't done is the beach, but are having a hard time deciding which stop to go to.

 

Which would you recommend for a 9 month old? We'll be taking a cab, will need beach chairs and an umbrella. A restaurant/bar for those drinking is necessary as well.

 

We were thinking Royal Palms.

I've been inquiring about this as well. I will be traveling with an 18 month old. From what I am gathering Royal Palms Beach is a good choice. Apparently, it's closest to cruise terminal, has change rooms. :)

Also, look into Sea Grape Beach, there is more sand and possibly a play area???

i'd head to Rum Point. Plenty of calm waters (usually) lots of shade, sand, hammocks and food and drink to boot!
