agc291 Posted January 10, 2012 #1 Share Posted January 10, 2012 We are trying to relocate to Florida by September so we are putting cruising on hold this year:(. Although this saddens me I have been doing some research on doing a NYE cruise but am having a hard time finding info. We have decided to redo our Victory cruise for this because New Years Day falls on the day at sea and we loved the itinerary. Can someone please fill me in on what Carnival does to celebrate? cdamion Posted January 10, 2012 #2 Share Posted January 10, 2012 I saw pictures somewhere from a couple of cruises. They had huge parties on the Lido deck with a countdown on the screen and another huge party inside in the atrium with balloon drops. Looked to be fleet wide and completely packed with people. Creepella Posted January 10, 2012 #3 Share Posted January 10, 2012 Massive celebration. On our cruise, at the time we were sailing down the coast of Puerto Rico, so not only was there this fabulous deck party, but we saw fireworks all down the coast. They did hats and noisemakers and champagne at midnight.
