World Gallery Posted January 11, 2012 #1 Share Posted January 11, 2012 Has anyone done the Tuscan Adventure: A Family Food Excursion in Chianti with Context Travel? Some of the description: This excursion allows families to enjoy an idyllic day in the Tuscan countryside, on the grounds of a family-owned, Medieval wine estate, where parents will take part in a guided wine tasting, while children are learning about the history of the estate, wine production and meeting the farm animals. Our destination is Chianti Rufina, the lesser-known northern tip of the famed Chianti region, which has been an important wine production region since the 11the century. Would love feedback about this tour or this area. Thanks.

If you think the price is worth it, and you like Italian reds, then it would probably be a good day out. It is hard to go too far wrong on a food/wine excursion in Italy, and this is an interesting area with respected and enjoyable wines. I would expect this tour to be a day well spent.
