Can the divider between adjacent celebrity suite balconies be opened? Does anyone know?

I can't speak for the adjoining suites, but we had adjoining balcony

rooms and unlocking the dividers was no problem. Our stateroom attendant

called the mechanic and he opened it a few hours into the cruise.

I doubt that they will open the divider. I have read on these boards that they no longer allow this and I know that they refused to remove the divider between the two PH balconies on the first Infinity cruise after Solsticization. And they refused the guest in the PHs very little.

 

I also think that it would be a bad idea. The forward facing Celebrity suite balconies now get a lot of wind - making the aft facing suites preferable now! Removing the divider would remove the protection from the wind.
