Coffe In the room

I have read that there is a coffee maker in the staterooms on the Star. Is it a real coffee maker or just a way to heat water for instant coffee? If it the latter, will they bring fresh coffee to your room each morning?

In all the staterooms there is a pot that boils water for instant coffee or tea. In the suites (AD and above) there is a coffee pot that brews coffee. Also room service that will bring you coffee 24hrs a day.........Linda

The "coffee" you get in the room is instant... and not very good (at least in my opinion).

You are far far better off just having a fresh pot of REAL coffee delivered each morning via room service. It does not cost anythign extra, and it's really quite decent compared to the instant.

My four-cup coffeemaker will be going with us. I don't do instand and I can quite bring myself to have someone bring me a pot of coffee at 4:30 AM. We're booked in an AE-I was hoping there would be a coffee maker, but that's OK.

I used the coffee pot on the Dawn to fill up from the 24 hour snack bar on 7th deck. Since it was just one deck under our cabin, it only took a few minutes to walk down and also have my pick of danish. One morning I called room service but gave up after a half hour of waiting.
