Snorkel vest Crotch strap extension

Hi,

I recently bought a ScubaMax snorkel vest with a pocket but the crotch strap is too short and I can't find the crotch strap extension ANYWHERE online. I'm going on vacation soon and it really soon. Please help!! Thank you!

Maybe you could return yours? I did see this.

 

Maybe you don't necessarily even need a 'snorkel vest' extension. Possibly just something like this? Looks like the same kind of fastner. In fact, even my dog's collar fastens like this, so maybe you could take your vest to the pet store to try it out out on a large collar. :)

I had the same problem due to height. I went to Academy and looked in their lifejacket section and camping gear section and came up with an adjustable strap that could be used. It did not hook directly in, but acted as an extension that would work and was adjustable.

They specialize in dive equipment, they have a number of vests, and they appear to be less expensive. We purchased one from them and it was fine. I am sure you could call them and find out the length of the strap and if it is too short work with them on an alternative.

Personally, I don't like the "happy" strap and just hook it on one of the side hooks (I don't wear it and don't wear a vest unless they insist)

Snorkel Tigger, Your idea is the best. I have to use a crotch strap or the vest will ride up on me. I can't believe I can't find any of these anywhere! I used to be able to find them online easily. If anyone does run across one, please let me know, thank you.
