For those who have used Fulton Street Parking in NOLA

When you are dropped off at the port with your luggage, do you go into a building immediately or is any amount of time spent outside? Since it is going to be 36 deg Saturday morning, I would rather leave my coat in the car.

You can go immediately into the terminal, no need to wait out in the cold.

Will the Fulton Street Parking's shuttle be waiting on us at debarkaction? Do the run frequently?

 

We always self debark and are usually some of the first off the ships. It is nice to be in the car heading home before 9 am. That gives us all day to make the 8ish hour drive home.

As soon as you have your baggage and clear customs your Porter will take you to the exit where the shuttles wait. One is usually loading with another close behind.

I am going to use Fulton Place parking when I cruise in May. I've always parked at the pier but a friend of mine has used this place and he said it is fine, no problems and you will save a few $$$.

Hello everyone, I began this thread prior to our cruise and we have returned. Our disembarkation was in a word, "amazing." We chose the self-assist with our luggage and walked off the ship at 7am with no wait at customs, walked down a long hallway and out the door with the Fulton Street Garage vehicle waiting for us. They let us off at the side of the parking area and while my wife waiting with the bags, I took the elevator to the 7th floor where my car was parked. Drove out the garage, turned right, then another quick right and picked up my wife and bags. We were actually on the road at 7:30am. We were astounded.

We gave the shuttle driver $5.00 to split between him and his helper who handled the baggage.
