CapsR1 Posted January 14, 2012 #1 Share Posted January 14, 2012 Can someone please enlighten me regarding obtaining a credit card that will offer CCL perks? I saw "Sea Miles" credit cards and "Carnival Master Cards" when I did a google search but am not sure which one, if any, is worth signing up for to either get discounts or onboard credit. Thanks in advance for your help.
goingsailing Posted January 14, 2012 #2 Share Posted January 14, 2012 I have the Carnival Mastercard which originally rewarded with SeaMiles, now they are calling them Fun Points. I have had it for nearly 8 years now and am thinking of changing to a Chase, Capitol One or something with rewards used for anything. I am not too happy with my Carnival Mastercard. Takes too long to accumulate enough points for anything worthwhile.
cruise_control Posted January 14, 2012 #3 Share Posted January 14, 2012 We have a Capital One MasterCard and redeem the accumulated miles for airfare to the ports. Makes cruising more affordable for us.
cuyahoga11 Posted January 14, 2012 #4 Share Posted January 14, 2012 I have a Carnivall MC but I only use it for cruises, get double points and after each cruise is over, I use the points for a statement credit with the points I have accumulated instead of saving them up to pay for a cruise
