6 night Carnival Valor formal nights

Just wondering how many formal nights are on the 6 night cruise. Been getting conflicting post. Some say 1 other 2, has anyone been on the the Valor for 6 nights resently?

Most evenings we have a Cruise Casual dress code, but there are those Cruise Elegant evenings one or two nights throughout the voyage. The length of the cruise determines the number of Cruise Elegant evenings in the Dining Room. The first Cruise Elegant evening is scheduled for the 2nd or 3rd day of the cruise; the second Cruise Elegant evening is scheduled for the 2nd or 3rd day prior to the end of the cruise, schedules permitting.

• 1-day cruise: none

• 2-day to 5-day cruise: one Cruise Elegant evening

• 6-day or longer cruise: two Cruise Elegant evenings

Does anyone know which nights these usually are? I am also going on the 6 night valor and wanted to book at night at the steakhouse but didnt want to do it on one of the formal nights.

According to below topic, the formal nights are the first sea day, and the night of the Montego bay stop.

Just back from the Valor... Our formal nights were on Day 2 and 5. Day 2 was a sea day and Day 5 was Ocho Rios Day

Oh No I think my husband told me wrong... I guess it's how you look at it. He was saying day 2 cause that is the second full day.

Day 1 Board ship

Day 2 Key west

Day 3 SEA DAY - FORMAL DAY

Day 4 Grand Cayman

Day 5 Jamaica - FORMAL DAY

Day 6 Sea Day

I could be wrong but from what I have seen on the forums I believe that night 3 (at sea day) and night 5 (Ochos Rios) will be elegant. I have seen differing information on which days are elegant. I am going on January 29th...so if you are going after I will let you know when I get back.

Our elegant nights were nights 3 (Sea Day) and 5 (Ocho Rios).
