Carnival Porthole rooms

Hello all,

My sister & I will be cruising on the Liberty in September to celebrate our birthdays (21 & 30, respectively), and we have booked a porthole room, as my DH loves the blackness of the inside rooms for sleeping & she has always cruised w/ the family on Disney, so she's never been in anything but a suite. I have searched & found photos of some of the PT rooms, but I am wondering if the ones on the Liberty are the same type w/ the window shelf/seat area??? Also, if anyone has any pros/cons about the PT rooms that would be good too. Our cabin number is 1220, and from what I was told it has 2 twin beds (not an upper/lower), and I have sen some rooms w/ couches, etc. in them as well. Thank you for any & all input.
