Best (easiest) car hire Port Canaveral

Hi,

Were coming to Orlando (international airport) on 10th August this year. Were thinking of using a hire car from there but after 2 days in Orlando taking it to the nearest drop off at Port Canaveral for our cruise on the 12th Aug. When we return we would like to hire again for our remaining 2 weeks holiday and take car back to Orlando International airport.

 

Previously we have kept the hire car and parked it at the port carpark, but its an awful waste of money.

 

Will picking up and dropping off at different locations make a huge difference to the price of carhire?

 

Can anyone recommend the best/easiest/closest car hire firm please

Last year we used Dollar Rental Car which had an easy drop-off at Port Canaveral. It was pretty close to the cruiseport and easy to get the shuttle van once we turned in our car. We had rented the car at the Orlando airport.
