maureen B. Posted April 15, 2005 #1 Share Posted April 15, 2005 Going on the AOS on July 24, 2005. What type of documents are needed? Do you need a passport or will a birth certificate and picture driver's license do? This is the Aruba itinerary. Thanks, Maureen
superjerryw Posted April 15, 2005 #2 Share Posted April 15, 2005 I believe that a birth certificte will be OK, however, it has to be the type that has a raised seal.

premiumrican Posted April 15, 2005 #4 Share Posted April 15, 2005 Get a passport, you are going to need it eventually, especially with all these changes that are expected in the future.
negc Posted April 15, 2005 #5 Share Posted April 15, 2005 For your particular cruise, a birth certificate (with raised or colored seal) and a government issued photo ID (driver's license or something similar) will suffice. However, you do have time to get a passport which is going to be required in the not too distant future and IMHO is more convenient and preferable as a form of official ID. If you divide the cost by the number of years a passport is valid, you will find the expense really isn't bad, and with one you will be able to journey almost anywhere in the world on a moment's notice. :)
