Full refund for any Costa cruise cancellation until Feb. 7

I haven't seen the first information below on the board, and it might be of interest to some (my apologies if it has been given before).

Costa does not advertise this very widely, but they offer full refund for any Costa cruise cancellation (on any ship, apparently) for people who are not so keen anymore on traveling with them, provided the cancellation is done before Feb 7th 2012:

"Our core values have always focused on the safety and welfare of our guests, as well as customer satisfaction. We consider it important to make an initial tangible gesture to anyone who has booked one of our forthcoming cruises and who, in light of the recent accident, might feel uneasy about sailing. Anyone wishing to do so may cancel their booking on any cruise without payment of a cancellation fee, provided it is done by Feb. 7, 2012."

(it's in very small print at the bottom of this page on Costa's website:

http://www.costacruise.com/B2C/USA/Info/cambio_itinerari.htm )

Passengers that had future bookings *on the Concordia* from January to March will receive full refund + 30% on a future cruise of their choice (can't find the official link for that, but several testimonies of future passengers corroborate), and from April onward Concordia's cruises will be operated by Costa neoRomantica and Costa Magica (above link).

Passengers that were on the wrecked Concordia will get a full refund of all expenses and I guess (I hope!) they will get other compensations as insurance and legal matters progress:

http://www.costacruise.com/B2C/USA/Info/concordia_statement.htm

"Costa Cruises confirms that it is contacting all guests on the Costa Concordia at the time of the tragic accident to make sure they have returned home and are well, and to confirm that they will receive a refund for the cruise and all material expenses relating to it. Costa Crociere also reiterates that it is in contact with its guests and all consumer protection associations to determine indemnity for the hardship endured, with the support of the tour operator association of each country"
