Does anyone know who RCL uses for operators in Grand Cayman & Cozumel?

In Cozumel we booked a dive excursion through RCL and they used Sand Dollar Sports. Equipment was not the best and worn though it did work without any problems.

I would do a little research on the internet and find dive ops in those places that will work with the cruise ship time line. Diving with cruise ops is what I call cattle boat diving. Huges crowds, everyone down at the time and up at the same time, regardless if you have over a half a tank of air.

That's what I'm afraid of. Cattle boats for divers is not fun. Just hoping others that may have used RCL's operators could give a review and their thought's.

For Cozumel try these folks. I have used them in the past when I do land trips there. Great dive op, small six pack boats.

I"m pretty sure it is Red Sail Sports in Grand Cayman.

 

Just a word of caution...I booked a dive excursion through the ship for Tortola last week and it was canceled the night before as I was the only one signed up. Learned my lesson to arrange through a local vendor.

 

To that end, check out Eden Rock Dive Shop in Grand Cayman. They are a 5 minute walk to the right of the ship doc. Another a bit farther down the road is Sunset House.

I'm pretty sure from what we have read that we are going independent. I heard back from RCL that the Max. number on their excursion in GC is 28 and Cozumel was 24. Way to many for us. :rolleyes:

That's for the suggestions now to see who we want to go with.
