Snorkel in Belize or Casta Maya?

We want to do a 5 person private charter snorkel in either Belize or Costa Maya,, of those of you who have been to both, which one would you suggest? And is it CorelBreezes hands down?

I'd snorkel in Belize, lots of better options.

My husband and 2 of our friends snorkeled in Belize with a guy named Roger. He wanted $300 to rent the boat and it held 6 people. This was in February and they are still talking about how it was the best experience. My husband describes it as looking down into a huge fish bowl. He took them to one of those little tiny islands way off the coast. They were a little bit afraid at first going off with this stranger so they asked the security guards about him and they said he was ok to go with. All I know is that he is a very large dark man named Roger and I saw a picture of the boat and it was pretty small. They all want to go back just to do that again.
