cannes/marseille or nice/toulon

Hi. I'm trying to decide between 2 cruises all with same ports except

 

RCL Liberty of Seas goes to nice and toulon and

Norwegian Epic goes to cannes and marseille.

 

I've never been to any of them. Looking at first week of september if that matters.

 

Any hints to help me decide which to do?

IMHO...Epic.Good ports to see lots and good time of year.You can then go back later and do another cruise!!!

I'm already leaning towards EPIC since I've never tried norwegian and the prices seem a bit lower than RCL.

I don't cruise on the large ships..Silverseas is all I do( I don't have much knowlege of the large ships at all to be honest) so the ports are important,and I like these 2 ports as there is a lot offered re day trips from them or just to stay put,and especially for a first time there.Read these boards especially this one to get some ideas as to what you can do re these ports as it may be of help for you.

I personally disliked the food on Norweigan. We took two voyages and decided never again.
