Price drop question...

I know if you book ES and the price goes down you can fill out the form and get the difference in obc. Can you still do this if you booked at the Past Guest rate, or are you stuck with the price you booked at? Thinking of booking another cabin and ES is not avail anymore.

Hope this isn't a dumb question, as we have only ever booked ES before.

Past guest won't work if you have made your final, ES will.

If you book at the Past Guest rate, you can still get price drops up until the final payment date. Again, the final payment date. If you pay off everything early, you can still match to the lower rate. However, you do not fill out the price protection form online. That's only for Early Saver. If you booked Past Guest, all you have to do is call customer service, & they'll adjust it. If you are booking after the final payment date has passed, then you are indeed stuck with whatever rate you booked at. If this is for the Valor cruise in your signature, while ES won't be available anymore, you still have some time before the final payment date arrives.

Yes it is for the Valor, thanks! Our oldest wants to go with us and wont have the deposit for another week, but since he decided the prices have just gone up and up :( he is going regardless, but good thing to know if it does go down before final payment due date he can get price change. We booked ES, thank goodness, but that was last July and our category has been sold out for a while so I am not hopeful for any price drops ;)
