bluecruise1 Posted February 2, 2012 #1 Share Posted February 2, 2012 Do we need to make entertainment reservations if we are sailing on the Explorer? I don't see anywhere to do this when I look at RC website for our reservation.

efields2 Posted February 2, 2012 #3 Share Posted February 2, 2012 The only thing on Explorer you will need to get tickets for are the ice shows and those are easy to get. They will put in the compass when they have them available to pick up.
bluecruise1 Posted February 2, 2012 Author #4 Share Posted February 2, 2012 Thanks! That's one less thing I have to plan/worry about in advance! :)
DonnaK Posted February 2, 2012 #5 Share Posted February 2, 2012 No, the shows on Explorer do not require reservations. However, once onboard, they do issue free tickets to the ice show. This is for crowd control because the ice rink is small, so they need to disperse the passengers over 2-3 shows. Check the Compass (cruise newsletter) for the time the tickets will be distributed, but even if you don't get tickets, you can go to the theater and get a standby seat.
