Renting Wetsuit for Snorkeling

We plan to snorkel in Half Moon Cay, Bahamas, in late December 2012 and have read that water temps can get pretty chilly. For a 45 minute excursion, I really don't want to purchase and pack wetsuits. Is there anywhere on the HAL ships (we'll be on Nieuw Amsterdam) or on Half Moon Cay to rent wetsuit vests of shorties?

The ship has no wet suits to rent. We had wetsuits for the stingray excursion on HMC but I don't know if they rent any out for snorkelers. If I remember I will check it out a week from Monday. :)

Thanks so much Peter - that would be great if you could check when you are on HMC. If it makes a difference, we were planning to do the snorkeling by boat excursion. It seems as if HAL would make decent money renting something for extra warmth since the weather in the Bahamas can get cool.

Bahamas water temp is, of course, cooler than Southern or Weatern caribbean.

I founnd that a rash guard shirt wass adequate, both for warmth and UV protection. It also, wards off the little stingy things.:p

If you think you will be sensitive the following chart includes wet suit recommendations.
