nicmur143 Posted February 4, 2012 #1 Share Posted February 4, 2012 Hi Cruisers ~ Does anyone know the difference between a D1, D2, D3 and a D4 Cabin on the RC Allure? The prices fluctuate quite a bit, but the cabins and balconies appear to be the same size in square footage. Any idea?
DonnaK Posted February 4, 2012 #2 Share Posted February 4, 2012 I believe that the D1's have a deeper balcony and are located on the hump. D2-8 only differ in location and cabin occupany.
adee74 Posted February 4, 2012 #3 Share Posted February 4, 2012 I believe they refer to their location on the ship (forward, aft, mid etc.). I had a D7 on the Allure and D7's were forward balcony oceanview. You should check the ship deck plan before selecting a cabin.
nydoll1 Posted February 4, 2012 #4 Share Posted February 4, 2012 I know that some also have more beds; we have done D4's because they have both the sofa and the pullman bed.
LABCHICK Posted February 5, 2012 #5 Share Posted February 5, 2012 We have a D7 on the Allure and our cabin is aft. We had a D5 on the Oasis this past Dec and we were forward. Our friends were in a D1 and were farther forward then us. Judi :)
