scubagirrl Posted February 6, 2012 #2 Share Posted February 6, 2012 I'm just curious where y'all like to eat in Nassau. We want something seriously authentic, no chicken fingers or burgers. :p Thanks in advance! Head to the Fish Fry at Arawak Cay. It's a village of small shack like restaurants with a common area and common restrooms. Oh Andros, Seafood Haven and Goldies are my favorites. But be aware.. these places are rustic.. and service is slow. Most take credit cards.. some don't.. so ask. . You can grab a cab for $4pp/ or the #10 jitney for $1.25 pp. It's about 20 minute walk west of the downtown dock area.

Just follow the wharf to Senor Frogs around the hilton hotel and past Junkanoo Beach. bhkeys Posted February 16, 2012 #9 Share Posted February 16, 2012 We're going to be in port for the night at the beginning of April and wonder how late we could get something to eat Arawak Cay? The ship doesn't arrive until 5:00 PM.

bhkeys Posted February 20, 2012 #14 Share Posted February 20, 2012 I just did a google search of the Arawak Cay area and the restaurants looks like a really cool place to go visit and eat at. We will definitely be visiting and eating in the area when we are in Nassau. ;)
