We went to Tabyana (sp) beach through a ship's excursion (RCL) and it was fantastic! So far our favorite beach in all of our cruises. It was about a 20 minute bus ride from the pier. Included was a nice buffet lunch, snorkel gear and a chaise placed where ever we wanted. We selected a shady spot under a palm. There was a good live band and a no host bar. The beach was sandy and gradually sloped. The water was clear, calm and warm. Snorkeling was great and you could also rent other water sport toys. People that had chosen to go to Foster's beach were all walking down to enjoy tabyana as it was so much better. Hope this helps.

I agree with Sally. If you are looking for a fantastic beach, go to Tabayana. I think you can only go there through the cruise line. There is an adacent section that is public, but the lunch, chairs, and facilities that were mentioned are part of the excursion. If you are in to snorkeling, it is probably one of the best snorkeling beaches we've ever been to. It was a fantastic day.

Have fun.
