Cave tubing in June (wet season)?

spleenstomper

Recommended Posts

I have read June is part of the wet season and that the rivers can get swollen during this time. I had booked cave tubing and ATV tour with yhony, but am now a little concerned about the currents in the river.

Did anyone go cave tubing in June before? Any comments/insight? thanks.

We did cave-tubing a few years ago, in mid-June. No problems with the water. We were with Major Tom, and had a relatively small group. (No problems with bug-bites either, as we walked thru the jungle.)

PS: SpleenStomper? Oh, that sounds tough! I'd love to know the story behind that name!
