early bag drop at Tampa

Hi, we are trying to find out if we can drop our bags off at the port at about 10 in the morning and then go to the Aquarium before we board. We had heard about Destination tampa.com but having phoned them they say they can only store luggage AFTER the cruise. Also some threads say you can store bags at the aquarium but we are having problems emailing and phoning to confirm this. We need to make a decision about where we stay the night before the cruise and it all hinges on luggage! Hoping someone can help. Thanks.

If you are staying at a hotel the night BEFORE the cruise, most hotels will allow you to leave your bags there in the morning after you check out. Then off to wherever, then come back and get them.

Also, you could just rent a car at the airport. That gets you to the hotel, the aquarium, and to the port. Plus you have a place to store your bags.
