Understanding my bill

Sorry, i'm just thoroughly confused with my billing info on carnival.

For starters, at the bottom it says "paid in full" so that's good, and I agree that it's paid in full.

We paid partially with certificates, so my NCFS line is odd, way lower than the rate I really paid.... fine.

At the bottom, it has a line for "booking charge/ credit" and that line reads "($200)"

Does that mean i have a credit? I applied for ES price drop, but it was denied, but now i see this? I'm almost afraid to ask Carnival themselves????:D

Guest Cruise Rate Taxes Fees Vacation Protection Total

89.00 56.20 0.00 145.20

89.00 56.20 0.00 145.20

Total 178.00 112.40 0.00 290.40

Payment Applied 385.40

MISCELLANEOUS CHARGES 255.00

AVERAGE CRUISE RATE PER PERSON WITH NCFS 89.00

BOOKING CHARGE/CREDIT (160.00)

Balance Paid In Full

However the only number that is correct is the taxes and fees.

I paid 159.00 for the cruise 56.20 for taxes and fees.

Total 430.40

Then I used 300 in certificates, and received a 300 credit back on my credit card.

I would just make sure everything adds up.

It did not mean anything on mine.

Basically I paid in full for the cruise because it was only a few weeks away. Then mailed in the 300.00 in vouchers I got from my credit card rewards. Then they credited my credit card back 300.00

AVERAGE CRUISE RATE PER PERSON WITH NCFS is the amount with non-commisionable fees removed, in other words your cruise fare. It will be the same as your per person rate unless you have more then 2 in a cabin then it will be lower.

Why Carnival has decided to show this I've no idea.

An amount in brackets in the line BOOKING CHARGE/CREDIT is a credit if it was an addition charge it wouldn't be in brackets which is the standard accounting method for showing a negative.
