CS Suites Millie questions

Hi everyone,

We're booked in the forward-facing CS on Millie for the 10/12 Venice to Barcelona sailing. We've tracked down assorted cabin/suite photos on the web and we're trying to find out from somebody who's recently traveled in one of Millie's CS suites what they thought. Some of the photos of the Millie-class CS suites look like there is an oriental theme, others show these funny horse-looking-print bed sheets. Does anyone know the color-scheme/decor of Millie's CS suites (versus Summit et al)? Also - what was the charge for internet use in the room? Same as the internet cafe? Does it get really hot in the room with that bank of windows?

Thank you, thank you!

Dave

Dave and Ann --

We were in the forward facing CS (Penthouse Deck) on the same itinerary in September 2003. I would have to go back to our pictures to see what the bedspread/decorations were, but I recall they had a fabric drape as a headboard decoration and that we decided to re-arrange the furniture to be able to eat our breakfast in the room by the windows.

We didn't use the terminal that much, but I think the charges were the same as the internet cafe -- convenience of having it always available and always open, I guess. We didn't opt for a day pass or anything, just spot uses to check e-mail, etc.

As for the heat, we did find it getting quite hot, especially when we had guests over (parties of 10-15 people). Even with the shades drawn, the Med sun can overpower the AC with enough people in the room. However, we had a GREAT time -- and you two should as well!

I'll review the vacation pictures later and see if I can describe the room better for you later tonight.

Dave and Ann --

The bedspread and fabric used for the headboard decoration in our CS were a maroon flower pattern -- not precisely a floral, though.

This was in 6104.

On the following link:

there are pictures of various M-class cabins, including CS on Millennium, Infinity, Summit, and Constellation. Hope this helps!!

P.S. if you want copies of the pictures we have of the CS on Millennium, e-mail me at stomsf(at)yahoo(dot)com .

Dave and Ann,

If you follow stomsf link, look for CS 7140. That was our cabin on the Millie (my pics!) I believe that all the CS's have been decorated individually so that no 2 are alike. (At least, from ship to ship, same cabin number!)

Enjoy the CS! Once you sail in that suite, you never want to go back to a standard cabin again!
