Best Parking arrangements in New Orleans?

Hello All,

 

We are headed to New Orleans this year for our first cruise from there, woo-hoo! I have booked a room at the Sheraton on Canal St. (which btw is excellent place from my past experience...). What I am curious about is the best parking arrangements or recommendations others may have. We will be on a week long cruise. The Sheraton hotel is not an option. Can anyone share the various parking options?

we parked at the fulton st garage. they were great. paid $12.00 a day.

Here is the link to where we park. It's FANTASTIC! They will bring you straight to the front door and unload your luggage. They give you their cell number and when you get back you call them as you're leaving the ship and they are at the front door waiting and load you up and you're out of there. No long traffic lines! It's awesome service!
