Lydia B. Posted February 16, 2012 #1 Share Posted February 16, 2012 Folks, We are looking into booking next spring on the Breeze and would like to try a Cove Balcony. The deckplans on Carnival are kind of small. I can tell that a lot of public areas on on Dec. 3 (Cove Balcony's being on Dec. 2). Can I have your opinions as to a location that might be the quietest? I know a lot of you have been on the Dream and thought you could help me out. OR if you had a cabin number that we should stay away from, due to the noice, that would help too. Thanks so much, Lydia of Ohio
Froufie Posted February 16, 2012 #2 Share Posted February 16, 2012 You can try here for a way to 'drag' one deck on top of another so you can clearly see what is above/below you. http://www.cruisedeckplans.com/DP/Main/decks.php?ship=Carnival+Dream ...and I'm sure you will also get some good recommendations from those who have tried out the cove balconies! :D

1948buddy Posted February 16, 2012 #4 Share Posted February 16, 2012 We had cabin 2288 on the Magic. I checked deck plans , and it is the same as the Dream. The cabin was unbelievably quiet. One advantage, was that it had a quick launch boat above , instead of a regular lifeboat, so you get more sun. Also, you will notice there is a blank cabin right across from it. This is an electrical cabinet, no problems. Hope this helps. Deck two is great for getting on and off also.
fuzzmane Posted February 16, 2012 #5 Share Posted February 16, 2012 We had 2337 and B and SIL had 2341 on the Dream and they were both great rooms. We never had an issue with noise. You will love being close to the water.

Karen_N Posted February 18, 2012 #7 Share Posted February 18, 2012 We were on the Magic in 2393 (Cove), 2395(inside) and 2397(Cove). I was concerned about noise from the galley, but never heard anything. I would take the same rooms again in a heartbeat! Loved the Cove Balcony!!!! Great location for access to the dining rooms, the promenade, but a long way from the Lido. Fantastic exercise, if you have the cardio and strength to do the stairs. We would do 6 flights and walk to another set of stairs to complete the journey! I think I was only on an elevator twice the whole week. mattp420 Posted February 18, 2012 #8 Share Posted February 18, 2012 we were on the Magic in 2264 and loved it. Super quiet from above. The room right next to us (2268) would have been even better as there was no life boat above. we will always book a cove if available. the views were amazing.
