French door cabins on legend?

Can someone who has stayed in one of these 4K cabins please say if the doors open and if you can step out to the railing to take a picture? There seem to be mixed thoughts on this subject and reps at carnival are of no help. ;)

Also do cabins 4112,4114 seem to be in between the lifeboats so you can see out to the water? Serene56, hope you see this post! :D Thanks

I stayed in one of these cabins on the Miracle, a sister ship to the Legend. The doors DO open-if you want it to stay open, you can prop it with the foot stool, a piece of luggage, or a bugee cord! I don't think you're supposed to step out to the railing (safety issues), but it probably could be done. Looking at the deck plan, it looks like either cabin you'd have a partial obstructed view, but looking at cabins 4122 and 4123-they look like they'd be more between the lifeboats/less obstructed. Happy cruising!

Have sailed the Legend multiple times in 4K's. You can't step out but can lean out to take a picture of the lifeboat in front of you or out either side which is just the sides of lifeboats. Even between the lifeboats there is not much of a view. These cabins are in a great location, middle of the ship and low, so there is not much motion. Do be careful as sometimes there can be crew members outside cleaning or working on the lifeboats.
