Valor Boarding time?

Just booked our cruise for March 2013, departing from San Juan for a 7 day southern.

The ship doesn't leave port until 10:30 that night, so what time would the boarding time be?

We would like to fly down the day of and just hop on the ship, rather than booking a hotel room for one night.

By the time you arrive at SJU and get to the port you should be able to check right in. The late departure is because they treat that first day in SJU like a port stop. You check-in and can get back off the ship to spend some time in San Juan before the ship sails that night. You know you're always taking a risk flying in the day off departure even though your ship leaves so late.

We are going to watch flight prices between that Saturday and Sunday to determine when we go. Hopefully we are able to get there Sunday then explore old san juan a bit.

Flying from Michigan to SJU, you're going to spend all day getting there.

We booked for the 3rd of march. Early morning flights don't bother me, that's what we are planning on.
