singleparentcruiser Posted May 24, 2004 #1 Share Posted May 24, 2004 Are there any midnight buffets on this ship? I know there will be plenty of food on board, but just in case I get the munchies...!
Choose2Cruise Posted May 25, 2004 #2 Share Posted May 25, 2004 We were on the Crown in April for the 2 week Colonial America trip and I don't recall ANY midnight buffets, not even the usual Chocolate Buffet, which is sometimes held in the afternoon. This is a small ship and geared for Freestyle Dining. The last orders in the dining room are taken at 10 PM so there are diners in there until maybe 11 o'clock at night. Not time to set up for a buffet! I think NCL is getting away from midnight buffets and concentrating on their longer dinner hours and alternative restaurants. No one seems to be going hungry. Have an early dinner, see a show and go back to the dining room for dessert and coffee, or order something up from room service before you go to bed. The buffets seem to be going to way of the dinosaurs along with truly formal nights and larger dance floors. Some will be missed, others won't!
