We were in Ochos Rios and visited Shaw Botanical Gardens, Fern Gully, roadside vendors and the Wassi Pottery factory. After a wonderful lunch at an authentic "local" spot we went on to Dunn River's Falls where the time was ours to meet when we were ready. This is so much better than an organized cruise exursion where your time is so strict. We got off the ship and met our tour guide for the day and left Jamaica with a wonderful new friend.
