skacton Posted February 21, 2012 #3 Share Posted February 21, 2012 We have been on two b2b and have never received a discount. We did get a basket of snacks and a bottle of champagne on the 2nd week.:)
divngmedic Posted February 21, 2012 #4 Share Posted February 21, 2012 Do you get some kind of discount if your doing a b2b? Not unless the first leg of your back to back is your first cruise. Then the second leg would be cheaper at the past guest rate.
DaytonCruiser Posted February 21, 2012 #5 Share Posted February 21, 2012 Years ago before they got really popular, Carnival would give you $50 off the second leg. Think they stopped doing that around 2003 or 2004

GuitarPlayer Posted February 22, 2012 #8 Share Posted February 22, 2012 Do you get some kind of discount if your doing a b2b? Yes! But not from the cruise line. The total cost of the first cruise that, um, already includes one hotel night pre-cruise, and round trip airfare doesn't exist on your second cruise. Your total airline cost per cruise day goes down when you include the days on the 2nd cruise. The only downside to B2B's in my experience is that I felt sort of "cheated" out of the anticipation of the 2nd cruise. Wasn't a huge deal, but something to consider. The cost savings of airfare and hotel offset the "anticipation" thing pretty well. GP
