payne5p Posted February 21, 2012 #1 Share Posted February 21, 2012 My family will be sailing in May. Final payment not yet made. We will have 2 cabins (Balcony with Husband, me, and two younger daughters) (Interior with 2 older daughters). One of the older daughters is cancelling (we paid her deposit). Can I cancel daughter then move husband over or will cancellation rules apply to him as well? I realize this will make one of the younger daughters in the Balcony go from 3rd/4th PAX to the higher 2nd PAX rate and maybe have to move to Balcony that holds 3 vs. 4. I'm running the numbers to see what will be the least amount lost.
BeccaBecca1713 Posted February 21, 2012 #2 Share Posted February 21, 2012 When you book ES name changes aren't allowed, thus Dad can't be moved to that room to "replace" daughter. You'll be charged a $50 cancellation fee, but the reminder of your daughter's deposit will be held to apply to a future cruise.
payne5p Posted February 21, 2012 Author #3 Share Posted February 21, 2012 Thanks for your response. I am aware of the cancellation policy for daughter. I'm debating on paying then having a no show since I will have to pay for the whole room anyway. Just trying to see if I could minimize the costs. Right now our booking rate is lower than the current ES rate.
