kelkel2 Posted February 22, 2012 #1 Share Posted February 22, 2012 Has anyone who has recently sailed on the liberty stayed on the Empress deck forward? We recently booked stateroom 7220 and if you look at the deck plans there is blank space next to it. My pvp says it's probably just a utility room. I also checked one of the archived threads and someone said it was part of the cabin next to it, as it is a handicapped cabin. I don't think that's right? Does anyone have any information about this or would someone mind checking for us when they are on the ship? We are both very light sleepers and although I don't mind having it next door, I don't want to be woken up by noise coming from it :)
StingRaysfan Posted February 22, 2012 #2 Share Posted February 22, 2012 7228 is a very big handicapped ocean suite.... what you are seeing is actually an extension of that suite, not a utility closet. :) We've stayed in 7230, but seen pics... that is one BIG suite! kelkel2 Posted February 22, 2012 Author #3 Share Posted February 22, 2012 That's so strange. Why don't they just make it look like one big room on the deck plans? Happy it's not a closet though!:)
StingRaysfan Posted February 22, 2012 #4 Share Posted February 22, 2012 no idea, though I've wondered the same... maybe so random people aren't trying to book the 'super suite' so it's open for the handicapped... we tried to call and move to it a week from sailing one time but it was already gone... figured it was worth a try. I've never actually seen it "available" on the website...
