BVK Posted February 22, 2012 #1 Share Posted February 22, 2012 Which beaches have plenty of lounge chairs in shade on the beach, whether under palm trees, palapas, or umbrellas? Do you know whether Mr. Sanchos has loungers in the shade, or if the only shade is at the tables that are permanently under the palapas on the AI side? How about Sabor? It looks like Paradise Beach does (correct?) but we were thinking we might like an all-inclusive. Any other suggestions? Thanks!

BVK Posted February 22, 2012 Author #3 Share Posted February 22, 2012 Thanks, Toyz. Unfortunately, Nachi is booked when we will be there. We would have loved to go, but must look for other options!
espmass Posted February 22, 2012 #4 Share Posted February 22, 2012 We were at Paradise Beach 2 weeks ago and there were plenty of lounges in the shade on the beach. They also give you umbrellas if you want them. They have a pool where there is shade too. Ship to beach was $13.00 each way for the cab for the two of us. The resort had a $2.00 cover charge per person which covered use of the facilities, lounge chairs, umbrellas, locker rooms, and bathrooms. They like you to spend $10 per person on food and drink but we didn't see that being enforced. However, the food is very good. People we met there who were staying on the island told us their hotel says that use of credit cards is safe at Paradise Beach and that the food and drinks are safe. BVK Posted February 22, 2012 Author #5 Share Posted February 22, 2012 Thanks ESPMass, that info is really helpful, and Paradise Beach sounds great for us! I'm still interested in hearing from anyone about whether Mr. Sanchos has loungers in the shade (not just tables in the shade) in case we'd like to try the AI option. espmass Posted February 22, 2012 #6 Share Posted February 22, 2012 Paradise Beach also has lots of water toys (slides, rafts, etc). The fee is $12.00 per person to use those.
