Nieuw Amsterdam - Fold Away cot?

Just found out we were upgraded from VF - 4 beds to V - 3 beds. Reason I booked stateroom with 4 beds is to accomodate the daughter of friends who will also be on the cruise and will stay with us some nights. Is it possible to request a fold away cot for the nights she stays with us?

I don't know if they will allow 4 to sleep in a room set for 3. As Josie said your best bet may be to contact HAL directly.

Found out that Nieuw Amsterdam does not have cots. Cannot go back to old staterooms. No other quad staterooms available. Has anybody ever used an inflatable mattress? This is not for the entire cruise, just a couple of nights

I've used inflatable mattresses, they're not bad. Especially for children. Don't know her age, but you may be able to find a youth sized one.

If you do put an extra person in your room that will only have three life jackets in it, be sure that she brings hers along from her cabin for the night and takes it back in the morning.

When you get on board check with your cabin steward or the front desk. They may have cots onboard. Sometimes the information from Seattle is different than you find on the ship.
