Port or starboard

We are crusing June 23. I happen to look on NCL web site to see the path on the POA route. The path listed is different then the NCL book tha we received from our travel agent. Our cabin is on the starboard side (right side) , which we thought would be the best view of the volcanos on the big island. Now looking on the web site it takes a different route which look like the port side is better. I called our travel agent to check this out. I want to see the volcanos from our balcony. Does POA Change their routes? Which is the best side

Thanks for viewing
