maryred Posted February 27, 2012 #5 Share Posted February 27, 2012 Sorry no coffee card, but the prices for the speciality coffee is actually a less expensive than at my local Starbucks or Green Planet, $1.72 to $3.74 non-alcoholic versions and $5.17 for liqueured coffees. The biggest difference is that Carnival does not have as many different types of roasts or syrups that a landside coffee shop does. The Miracle actually has 2 Speciality coffee counters, 1 on the Lido deck near the rear of the buffet and a second one down on the Promenade by the Jazz Club. The one on the Lido deck is generally open early to match the breakfast service at the buffet and stays open till late afternoon. The one on the lower deck has odd hours on port days but generally stays open till late night. In reality if your just looking for a good fresh brewed regular coffee in the morning room service is the easiest choice and well worth the tip of a buck or 2 for the convenience of not leaving the cabin. Plus it comes in a carafe for multiple cups, just remember to specify how much milk/cream and sweetner you want. The coffee in the MDR is also brewed in smaller batches so it tastes better than at the buffet.
