ann1bell Posted February 28, 2012 #1 Share Posted February 28, 2012 We are choosing between cabins 7069 and 7053 on Oceania Nautica. 7069 is two doors from the laundromat and the 53 is two from the storage area near the elevator. Has anyone stayed in either of these on Nautica or her sister ships? i wonder about people in the hallways near the laundry. Any info would be great! Thanks. neepawa Posted February 28, 2012 #2 Share Posted February 28, 2012 We have stayed in cabins 7059, 7051, 7049 and 7039, all on the starboard side, and have never been bothered by any noise from the storage area near the elevators. The entrance to the laundry room is on the port side opposite cabin 7076. If you have interior cabins 7053 or 7069 on the starboard side, you should not be have any noise problems. Mura Posted February 28, 2012 #4 Share Posted February 28, 2012 We actually LIKED being opposite the laundry room. We never heard any noise from it or the hallway until we opened our door. And it became very easy to check and see when machines were available. Mura
librarian Posted February 28, 2012 #5 Share Posted February 28, 2012 We liked that room as it was so convenient for laundry. We were on 25 days and visited laundry room frequently. Only time I noticed congestion in hallway was early morning on days at sea as everyone knew there would be many lining up to wash. Never any noise though
