Orbitz prices

[Petit Dauphin]

I am planning to stay two nights in Barcelona before cruising on the Millennium.

Orbitz site offers this stay at the Ritz Barcelona for 267 euros per night, including breakfast, while on the hotel site the price 380 euros without breakfast.

Why such a difference?

Can we trust Orbitz or travelocity? I never used these sites.

Orbitz is one of the biggest travel sites on the web. I've used them for flights, hotels, and auto rentals. You can call the hotel directly to confirm your reservation. You shouldn't have any problems.

If you are worried about Orbitz, why not just have your TA book your hotel? Here in my office, are in the middle of a month long comparison between the prices we get and the pricing on the big three websites . . . So far, our pricing is the same or lower than theirs when comparing the exact same thing . . . We are not unique, this is the case with the pricing most travel agents offer. Give your TA a try!
