How far is Paradise beach from the cruise boat pier??

The reason asking is i was curious if a moped could make the trek? I was in cozumel 2 yrs back and rented a moped for the day and had a blast, and i was already going to rent one regardless. I KNOW there are some crazy drivers around that you have to be careful for. I heard the beach is a "few miles" from the pier. Has anyone done this before?

you first need to know which pier you will dock at to determine how far to PB .

Hmmmm not sure which one but ill be on the Carnival Elation, maybe others that have been on this boat could help.

You'll probably be at Puerta Maya which is about 6 miles from PB. Add another 3 miles if you're coming from downtown.

If you insist on renting a scooter (traffic is so much worse than it was 2 years ago) please stick to the "old road" along the ocean!! Much safer than the new one where scooters aren't allowed anyway...
