Cmdr Cody Posted March 3, 2012 #2 Share Posted March 3, 2012 The latin restaurant is now Moderno. I'm hot sure how loud it will be. Most pay restaurants are only open from about 4-10 pm so I don't see that as much of an issue as if ti was the buffet (open 24 hr). Or something with late night entertainment. rvsullivan Posted March 3, 2012 #3 Share Posted March 3, 2012 9108 has another cabin above it and a public restroom below. Should not be a problem.
Demonyte Posted March 3, 2012 #4 Share Posted March 3, 2012 The latin restaurant is now Moderno. I'm hot sure how loud it will be. Most pay restaurants are only open from about 4-10 pm so I don't see that as much of an issue as if ti was the buffet (open 24 hr). Or something with late night entertainment. In addition to that the noise from restaurants affects mostly downwards (trollies, tables, chairs etc being moved around) so being above them is usually not biggie. Places that play music etc are more of a concern. When we were on Jewel, we had mini suite below sun deck and the parties (steel drums etc) did keep us up and sometimes we woke up because of the cleaning crew moving tables, loungers etc on deck at wee hours. We lived with it but probably would not book a cabin from the same area again when possible. P.S. The buffet is not open 24hrs so You probably meant Blue Lagoon, right? :)

portagyplaya12 Posted March 3, 2012 #6 Share Posted March 3, 2012 As others have said, if its a pay restaurant you typically won't get a lot of noise because of the much smaller crowds and operating times You're going to love the Jewel, great ship! Have fun!
