We are saiing on the Thompson Dream on the 11th March, and I wondered if their was a laundry on board as I have read you cant take an iron on board. :)

Correct - you aren't allowed to take irons on board and sadly there aren't any self-service laundries unlike on the Spirit and Celebration. There is a payable laundry servcie but I've never used it so sorry can't help with prices.

Hi i'm sorry to report no laundry on board the Dream, you can't take an iron on board.I was hoping that perhaps there might have been a room on board for ironing but no such luck.you can have items pressed however this will cost.

If you use the ships laundry service there is no need to choose the pressing option as it costs more. I found my stuff came back ironed anyway with the shirts probably done on one of those steam presses. The socks and handkerchiefs were neatly folded as well. Of course it is expensive at over £2 per shirt etc.
