Canon Digital cameras cheaper in US Virgin Islands?

Hey folks,I will be cruising in St.Thomas & St.Martin next month and was wondering 2 things: 1) Are digital cameras any cheaper in the Caribbean than on some cheap websites? and 2) I'm specifically looking for the Canon Powershot SD-300 (4 mp)..I've found it on the net for around $278....if anybody sees it cheaper before May 15,please let me know!!!!

One thing to remember about buying abroad is that if something goes wrong it is hard to return it back to the store. And you may be buying "Grey Market"
