Snorkeling better in a.m. or p.m. on St Kitts?

We're in St Kitts the last week of March. The ship's (Celebrity Eclipse) snorkeling shore excursion is available in the morning and in the afternoon. Would one time be preferable over the other? The description says the snorkeling will be on the "Caribbean Sea side of St Kitts".

Typically, no matter where you go, the water is generally calmer in the mornings.

 

If you have a choice, I'd go for the morning trip.

It isn't bad in the afternoon either...here is a video I took at South Friar's Bay, between 2pm and 3pm back in February.

 

Great snorkeling and straight off the beach.

 

Enjoy your stay...it's a lovely island.

Great video. Where were you ie left vs right. Any landmarks? Did you see monkeys by the road there? Thinking of going there soon.
