Norwegian Coastal Voyages return from Kirkenes

I noticed a couple of travelers who indicated they cruised one-way from Bergen to Kirkenes. I am considering doing the same thing but am unsure how to return to Bergen. Did you do this by train? If so, how was the experience - ease,cost, length, etc. Thanks, Carolyn

You should be able to find some flights to return from Kirkenes to Bergen. Another thing you might consider is returning to the US via Helsinki instead, as we did. You can get a van transfer from the ship in Kirkenes to the airport in Ivalo, Finland. You can then find a very inexpensive 1-stop flight on Finnair to Helsinki.

HI WE HAVE DONE BOTH NORTH AND SOUTH BOUND ONE WAY VOYAGES. wE FLEW BACK FROM KIRKENES TO BERGEN AND ONCE TO OSLO I DO NOT REMEMBER COST BUT WAS REASONABLE TOOK ABOUT 6 HRS FROM KIRKENES TO OSLO WE HAVE DONE ROUND TRIP ON SHIP AND WE LOVED IT VERY RELAXING AND SCENIC
