littlesteelo Posted March 7, 2012 #1 Share Posted March 7, 2012 Hey guys, I have been monitoring the 28th July Independence of the Seas cruise for a while now, but it has been just out of our price range. However, the price has just shot down from £1550 to £1335, which brings it into much more reasonable territory, and is nearly £1000 saved for 4 of us. Do you think it will be worth waiting any longer to see if it drops any more, or should I bite the hook now? These are TA prices by the way, and I intend to try and squeeze a slightly better deal, or perhaps some OBC or free parking out of it, which I managed to do last time. It's always a crap shoot as to whether the prices will go up or down. The rule of thumb is to buy at a price you're comfortable with. In any event, you should go on the Indy! We were just on her and she's a beautiful ship. You will have a marvelous time!
will773 Posted March 7, 2012 #3 Share Posted March 7, 2012 I wouldn't wait. Before you know it, it could shoot right back up. BOOK NOW!!!

Scottish schools will have already broken up for the summer and this will therfore be peak peak summer season. £1,335 for a 14 night (guessing by the dates as during summer holiday period its 14 night cruises) during peak season is a very good price, IMO. LoisGriffin1 Posted March 8, 2012 #5 Share Posted March 8, 2012 It sounds like a good price and a great saving for 4 people. If its in your price range and you want that date then go for it.
